Travelling but in love with a girl at home? Ok so I got with my girlfriend last June, but had my travels planned before I met her. I left in January. I miss her very much. She is the same. We text, email, phone. She couldnt come with me as she is bridesmaid at her sisters wedding in Aug, and she has just started a job. I had no idea it would be this hard.I had no plans to go home, I wanted to work abroad. However, I dont wanna work anymore, Im gonna travel a bit more. I do need to do a course for 6 weeks to refresh some computer software I use. There is a course at home I could do but do I: Go home, do the course and be with my girlfriend (course is good for my career), and forget about travlling or Stay travelling and stick to my original plan. Travelling to distant worlds - overcoming acceleration needed? The human body can withstand around 5g for a sustained period of time. Anything more and after a few seconds/minutes you would pass out and eventually die right? With this in mind, I calculated that in 70 yrs a human could travel roughly 1.21E13 Km. This isn't even a drop in the ocean compared with the size of our galaxy, let alone travelling to another galaxy. My point is: would freezing the human body suffice to allow greater degrees of acceleration in order to be able to travel further? Or would the body still undergo damage at high accelerations? Travelling to Puerto Rico in September? I will be travelling to San Juan the first week in Sept. We are staying at the Marriott Stellaris Resort. Anyone been there? Is it a large enough resort to keep us occupied for a week or should we try and break up the week staying in another area of the island. Anyone ever stayed at the Marriott Courtyard on Isle Verde? When travelling to see the pyramids, from shram, does the coach run everyday, and does it travel at night? I will be there in shram for 2 weeks and will have time to spare a day for travel if it will cut the cost of going to see the pyramids, because I also want to spend alot of money seeing the reefs etc, the pyramis are more for my family than me.
